This course will impart a solid grounding in urban economics as a part of applied microeconomics after studying public economics. The urban economics analyzes cities and studies reasons for buildings' height, agglomeration of city, etc.

|
This course considers the formation and change, housing, and overall problems of cities with microeconomics theory. This course’s objective is to train students to analyze the problems of cities.

The evaluation criteria of this class refers to the following points.
・Students can understand and explain public goods and urban policies.
・Students can understand a way of thinking and techniques of urban economics based on microeconomics theory.

Grade will be decided holistically as below, based on the following terms/rates.
「Ｓ（Academic achievement 90%～100%）」,「Ａ（80% or more, less than90%）」,
「Ｂ（70% or more, less than80％）」, and「Ｃ（60% or more, less than70%）」 are indicators of passing,
「不可（less than 60％）」is an indicator of failure.（Standard rating method）
